She was predeceased by: her mother Patricia Ann McPhee Tarkington; her stepfather Chad Tarkington; and her nephew Jack Wayne Zimmerman, III. She is survived by: her son Ian Trey Zimmerman of Greenville, NC; her stepson Christopher Reel of Hertford, NC.; and her siblings, Tanya Lantz (James) of Shawboro, NC and Jack Wayne Zimmerman, Jr. (Gayle). She is also survived by three great-nieces and two great-nephews.
