She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Edward Simpson and Eria Bell Horton Simpson; and her husband David Leonard Harrell. She is survived by: her daughter Karen Harrell Bottoms (Stan) of Hertford, NC.; and her sister Barbara Mogul of Savannah, GA. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Twiford Funeral Homes (405 E Church St, Elizabeth City, NC 27907). A graveside service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the West Lawn Cemetery (1909 West Main Street Extension, Elizabeth City, NC 27909).
