She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Harrell and Mary Smithwick Harrell; and her spouse Bennie Lee Sharp. She is survived by: her children, Mary Hoover (Michael) and Christopher Sharp; and her grandchildren, Michael Hoover, Jr., Maurice Hoover (Mary), Terrence Sharp, Adrian Sharp, Dominique Sharp, Miqueas Sharp, Mateo Sharp and Ifrian Sharp. She is also survived by great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many love ones and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Beach Funeral Home (310 E Grice St, Elizabeth City, NC 27909). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the West Lawn Cemetery (1909 W Main St, Elizabeth City, NC 27909).
