It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen Barbara Shaw (Elizabeth City, North Carolina), born in Brockton, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 30, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Kathleen Barbara may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Kathleen Barbara touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald L. Miller and Pauline Heartwell Miller; her husband Carleton Wesley Shaw; her son Richard Shaw; and her siblings, Jean Walon and Donald Miller.
She is survived by: her daughter Robin Shaw Cook (Frederick).
