She was predeceased by: her parents, George Clarence and Ruth Sanders Temple; her husband Earnest Scott Cauley, Jr.; her sons, Paul Scott Cauley, George Michael Cauley, Sr. and Ronnie Louis Cauley, Sr.; and her siblings, Cynthia Stowe and Allen Ray Temple.
She is survived by: her son Dwight Cauley (Debbie); her daughters-in-law, Joyce Cauley of Elizabeth City and Darlene Seymour of Hertford; and her grandchildren, Michael "Bubba" Cauley, Rhonda Ownley (Robbie), Brandon Seymour, Crystal Phelps (Ryan), Hayley Cauley, Jason Cauley (Heather) and Jake Cauley (Nikki). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Berea Baptist Church (2033 N Road St, Elizabeth City, NC 27909). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
