He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie H. Allen and Mary Howell Allen; his wife Doris O. Allen; his children, William "Alex" Allen and Zelda T. Allen; his great grandchild Jeremy Etheridge; and his siblings, Clara Beamon, Cennie Mae Sutton, Willie, Bud, Raymond Allen, Theodius and Herk.
He is survived by: his daughter Linda A. Briggs; the parent of his child Little; his grandchildren, Winser Allen, Ronnie E., Ron Ron, Allen Jr., Lativia Allen, Felicia Allen, Jeremy Barclift and Sholanda Davis; his great grandchildren, Taneyll Allen, Amaiya Allen, Jeremiah Allen, Shi, Jaylan Blackman, Jasmine Johnson, Christian Johnson and Zoe Knuckle; his daughter-in-law Helen Allen; his sister-in-law Carolyn Allen; his daughter Debora A. Roseborough; and his grandson David M. Roseborough. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Together they worked and often going without themselves to make sure their children were provided for in everyway possible, giving them the foundation, they needed to succeed in the world.
