He was predeceased by: his parents, Gurnie Edward "Ed" Needham, Jr. and Rebecca Charlotte "Becky" Latham Needham; and his siblings, Jasper William Needham, Gideon Mitchell Needham and Rhonda Ann Needham.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Marie Needham; his children, Glen Edward Needham, Sr. (Stephanie) and Charlotte Marie Needham Saunders (Aaron); his siblings, Richard Allen Needham and Mary Ann "Lee Ann" Moses (Robert "Bobby); and his grandchildren, Glen Edward Needham II (Krystal), Preston Ramsey Needham (Allison), Whitney Alexis Needham, Mark Daniel Saunders (Breanna), Sean Wyatt Saunders and Taylor Jean Needham. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Twiford Funeral Homes (405 E Church St, Elizabeth City, NC 27907).
