She was predeceased by: her mother Mollie Smith; and her siblings, Mary Johnson, Denise Rivers, Annette Rivers, Ella Davis and Moses Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Narissa Samuels, Dewayne McCoy and Albert Samuels; her grandchildren, Dewayne McCoy, Jr., Ometha McCoy, DeErika McCoy, Rahima McCoy, Miracle McCoy, Chutni Addison, Aijalon Moses and Arissa Samuels; and her aunt Fannie Mae Hodges. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Beach Funeral Home (310 E Grice St, Elizabeth City, NC 27909). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Christ Church (39 Joynes Rd, Hampton, VA 23666).
