He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jack Starboard and Mattie White Starboard. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Whitehurst Starboard; his children, Cindy Shea (Bryan) of South Mills, NC and George Starboard, Jr. of South Mills, NC.; and his grandchildren, Haley Shea and Colton Shea.
