He was predeceased by: his mother Madeline Barrow Jones; his wife Laura Jones; his great grandchild Piper Giselle Taylor; his sisters, Jannie Ruth Williams, Constance McNeil and Frances Davenport; and his sister-in-law Cynthia Spence.
He is survived by: his children, Warren Jones, Robin Taylor and Vicki Mitchell (Darryl); his cousin Delores Biggerstaff; and his brother-in-law Ernell White. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren.
