We are sad to announce that on June 20, 2024, at the age of 72, Eric William Benedum (Elizabeth City, North Carolina), born in Euclid, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Eric William farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Eric William is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Franklin Benedum and Jeanne Ellen Benedum of Euclid; and his pet Lucy. He is survived by: his daughter Lauren Celia Benedum of Asheville; the parent of his child Kaye Benedum of Asheville; his siblings, Nancy Greskowiak (Edward) of Portsmouth and Emmett Benedum (Molly) of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.; and his pet Inky. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He came out of retirement during the height of the pandemic to administer COVID-19 vaccines to the public.
