She was predeceased by: her parents, James M. Voshell and Holland Simpson Voshell; and her brother Charlie Williams. She is survived by: her significant other Peggy Eason; her son Tommy Laing (Stacey); her grandson Alex Utkewicz (Racheal); her great grandchildren, Gavin and Penny Utkewicz (family: Wayne Eason); her nieces, Hailey Eason and Jessica Casper (Matt); her close friend Cathy Bontemps; and her pet Cooper.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the West Lawn Cemetery (1909 West Main Street Extension, Elizabeth City, NC 27909).
