The memory of Delna Glenn Dail Sr. of Elizabeth City, North Carolina, who passed away on February 14, 2025 at the age of 84, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Louis Dail and Rose Rouse Dail; and his siblings, Pete Dail, Bobby Dail, William Dail, Earline Sugg and Grace Murphy.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Hill Dail; his sons, Delna Glenn Dail, Jr. and Craig Dail (Karen); his grandchildren, Taylor, Tiffany, Kayla and Patrick; his brother Ralph Dail (Pat); and his pet Bubba. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Twiford Funeral Homes (405 E Church St, Elizabeth City, NC 27907). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at the Final Resting Place Snow Hill Cemetery (1112 Kingold Blvd, Snow Hill, NC 28580).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Victory Baptist Church, 684 Old Hertford Highway, Elizabeth City, NC 27909.
