He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Biggs and Alma Biggs. He is survived by: his wife Anna Douglas Biggs; his children, Britt Biggs Myers (Tem) of Rocky Mount and Douglas Bruce Biggs (Melissa) of Atlanta; his grandchildren, Eliza, Bess Myers, Louise and Bruce Biggs; his siblings, Lois Biggs Tetterton, Wade Biggs, Gene Biggs, Wanda Biggs Watford and Mitch Biggs; his friends, Janice L. Dance, William Lewis and Ana Alvarez; his caregivers, Sharon Armstrong and Melanie Sutton; and his pet Lucy.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Christ Episcopal Church (200 S McMorrine St, Elizabeth City, NC 27909). A reception was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
