Brian Williams Sr. Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Brian Williams Sr. of Elizabeth City, North Carolina, who passed away on January 17, 2025 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Brian Williams Sr. to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Bryon Williams (Mary Marsh) and Patsy Watkins Williams; his wife Patsy Williams; and his siblings, Dorothy Jefferies, Patricia Williams, Terry Williams and Craig Williams.

He is survived by: his children, Sharon Nixon (Eric), Christina Elmore (Larry) and Brian Williams, Jr. (Christina); his sister Cindy Croft; his grandchildren, Johnathon Wilson (Kendra), Amanda Williams and Aiden Nixon; his great grandchildren, Paisley and Parker Wilson; and his siblings-in-law, Judy McGregor (Dan) and Doug Watkins (Shirley).

Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Twiford Funeral Homes (405 E Church St, Elizabeth City, NC 27907). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (1453 N Road St, Elizabeth City, NC 27909). The military honors was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
