She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Henry Hines, Sr. and Minnie Anne Smith Hines; her husband Nathan Henry Stiren Reid, Sr.; her sons, Ronald Leon Reid, Nathan Reid Jr., Michael Leon Reid, Sr., Reginald Lamont Jones Sr. and Nauture Antoine Reid Sr.; and her siblings, Mable Hines Moring, Minnie Hines Lewis, Mammie Melissa Hines, Mary Malica Hines, Shirley Jean Hines, Lillie Mae Hines Chew, Martha Hines James, Anna Hines, Ella Louise Hines Melvin, Willie Mateo Hines, William Manchese Hines, Samuel Mines, Clifton Hines, Charlie Hines Jr., Walter James Hines, Jessie Lee Hines and Johnny Junior Hines.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth L. Reid, Sr., Donna M Reid and Lateef S. Brown; her brother George Hines, Sr.; her close friend Elizabeth Williams; and her grandchildren, Roshanna Chastity Valentine, Latisha Schultz and Monique Foster. She is also survived by 30 great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and countless nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
