As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Wade may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Wade and Thelma Carswell Tate. He is survived by: his children, Chris Tate (Andrea Matthews) and Melissa Linville (Chris); his grandchildren, Dylan Tate, Hayden Parker, Cailyn Linville, Addi Hobgood and Kennedy Henderson; and also, Craig Tate and Rhonda Tate.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McClure Funeral Service (1308 S 3rd St, Mebane, NC 27302). A graveside service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Zion Christian Church Cemetery (3210 Mt Zion Church Rd, Mebane, NC 27302).
