We are sad to announce that on August 2, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Sherry Ann Gates of Efland, North Carolina, born in Durham, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Everette Gates and Sarah Elizabeth Nunalee Gates. She is survived by: her sisters, Paula Jean Gates, Carol Gates (Harold Broadwell), Jane Gates and Sue Gates (Steve Dupree); her nieces, Sarah Broadwell, Lindsey Broadwell, Mallory Clayton and Laura Clayton; and her aunts, Jean Phillips and Anna Nunalee.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Orange County Animal Services.
