It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeffrey Alan Hathaway (Edward, North Carolina), born in New Bern, North Carolina, who passed away on December 20, 2019, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father James Roy "Jimmy" Hathaway III. He is survived by: his mother Frances Walker Hathaway-Raper; his wife Sandy Lynn Popp; his daughters, Ashton Leigh Hathaway of Edward and Taylor Hathaway Cox (Adam) of Grimesland; and his granddaughter Layne Elizabeth Cox.
