He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Linda Mooney Basnight and William Edward Basnight; his spouse Tina Berry; his daughter Laura E. Basnight (Tommy Taylor) of Swan Quarter; his siblings-in-law, Cindy B. Mason (David, Jr.) of Swan Quarter and Ricky Berry (Chelsey) of Pantego; and his nephew Timothy James Mason of Swan Quarter.
