We are sad to announce that on March 29, 2021, at the age of 98, Bertie Laura Aycock of Edward, North Carolina, born in Lenoir, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles M. Johnson and Laura Davis Johnson; her husband Edward G. Aycock; her birth parents, Fred and Grace Hart; her daughter Patsy Aycock Williams; and her siblings, Katie Hart Aycock, Gene Hart, Billy Hart and Fred Hart, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughter Linda Aycock Hines (Isaac) of Kinston; her grandchildren, Edward Glenn Williams of Kinston, Laura Hines Malloy (Michael) of Chicago and Susan Hines of Raleigh; her great grandchildren, Leah Malloy and Kayla Malloy of Chicago; and her siblings, Peggy Hart Rouse (Frank) and Duffy Hart (Judy) of Kinston.
Due to Covid-19, the family requests that social distancing be practiced, and everyone in attendance wear a face covering.
