He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie J. Enloe and Elsie Nesbitt Enloe; his son Alan Walter Enloe; and his brother Boyce Enloe. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Freeman Enloe; his children, William "Bill" Scott Enloe (Yamina) of Belmont, CA and Laura Enloe Smallwood (Brad) of Wake Forest, NC; his grandchildren, Elizabeth "Ellie", Jordan, Jerrin, Ryan Smallwood and Nedjma Enloe; his sister Virginia Ann Lancaster; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Freeman (Chip Webster) and John Lee Freeman (Dolores). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
