She was predeceased by: her parents, Zoro Cagle and Ruby Cagle of Hendersonville; her husband Emzy B. Varney Jr.; and her siblings, Otis, William Cagle (Bill) and Norma Jean Cagle.
She is survived by: her children, Harvey Varney, Larry Varney of Worthington, Loretta Kell and Beverly Chickerell (Ron) of Fairmont; her grandchildren, Heather Noel Realbuto of Hendersonville, Joann Drew of Ohio, Jesse Kell Jr. (Leah) of Campobello and Austin McKinley Kell; her great grandchildren, Benjamin Kell (Jesslyn) of Greenville, Zachary Noel (Kayla) of Columbia, Landon Noel of Hendersonville, Finley Kell of Tryon, Giovanni Realbuto of Hendersonville, Aubrey, Caroline Kell of Campobello, Lauren and Alania Drew of Ohio; her great great grandchild Dexter Kell of Greenville; and her siblings, Harold Cagle of Hendersonville and Susan Cantrell of Mill Spring. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home (538 Tracy Grove Rd, Hendersonville, NC 28792). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park (538 Tracy Grove Rd, Hendersonville, NC 28792).
