He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sidney and Effie Galbraith Goza; and his brothers, Charles, Bobby and Dana Goza.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Monroe Goza; his sister Anna Goza of Hope Mills, NC; his children, Kelley G. Richter (Will) of Charleston, SC, Rebecca G. Johnson of Wake Forest, NC, Lindsay C. Edwards of Green Mountain, NC and Jared M. Edwards (Katherine) of Washington, NC; his grandchildren, Catherine, Collin, Cameron Byrne, Maribel, Wesley and Caulder Edwards; his nieces, Wendi G. Pierce (Michael) of Hope Mills, NC and Dora Lee; and his nephew Robert Goza.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lumber Bridge Presbyterian Church, or in memory do an act of kindness for someone as he was always kind to everyone.
