He was predeceased by: his parents, William James and Eileen Catherine Manning Marquitz. He is survived by: his wife Dr. Jeanne Jeffery Marquitz; his daughter Lisa Marquitz Glover (Richard Michael Glover, Jr.); his granddaughter Nicole Jeanne of Potomac Falls, VA; his daughter Jamie Christine Marquitz (Brett Anthony Laravie); his grandchildren, Cecilia and Patience of Grandy; and his siblings, Margaret Kerwin (Michael) of Centerville, OH and Robert Marquitz (Paulette) of Franklin, TN..
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Tri-County Animal Shelter, 138 Icaria Road, Tyner, NC 27980, or to any organization serving Vascular Dementia and Alzheimer's patients and their families.
