He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert O. Stickles and Zella Stowe Stickles; his former wife Doris Flor Stickles; and his siblings, Verna Jacobus, William, Melvin and George Stickles.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Beckwith Graves; his children, Susan Dee Jacoby (Tom) of Hilton Head, SC, Deborah Ann Landsperger of Hilton Head, SC and Gregory Wayne Stickles (Valerie) of Hilton Head, SC; and his stepdaughters, Gina Wellman (Ralph) of Edenton and Vana Ward of Edenton. He is also survived by six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
