He was predeceased by: his parents, Carey Moses and Cora Bell Bass Evans; his siblings, Mary Louise Evans, Ruth Evans Nixon, Shelton Lee, Carroll Sr. and Jack Evans; and his granddaughter Holly Ann Evans.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Kirby Evans; his children, Kimberly Evans Fisher (Eric) of Virginia Beach and Wallace Scott Evans (Lisa) of Hertford; and his grandchildren, Hunter Scott Evans, Mary LeeAnne Evans and Sophia Lynn Fisher. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
