She is survived by: her children, Barbara Hale Straughen of Saratoga, NY, Frances Hale Beal (Clifton) of Edenton, James LeRoy Hale (Darlene) of Edenton and Randall Cejka Hale (Rachel) of Smithfield. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
