He was predeceased by: his father David L. Baker. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Mumm "Liz" Baker; his mother Jeanette Nixon Baker of Edenton; and his sister Heather Koon of Clayton. He is also survived by His extended family includes Liz's six siblings, and 22 nieces and nephews.
