He is survived by: his wife Thelma "Joyce" Davey (Wilson); his son Daniel "Scott" (Karen); his grandchildren, Hanna of Edenton, Drew of Edenton and San Diego; and his daughter-in-law Jean Davey (Dozier) of Etowah.
