It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ralph Vernon Cole Sr. of Edenton, North Carolina, who passed away on October 15, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henderson Cole and Josephine Cole; and his siblings, Luther Cole, Henderson Cole, Otelia Paige, Mildred Felton, Evelyn Johnson and Dorothy Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Cole; his children, Tracy Cole, Ralph Cole, Jr. (Battina) and Dr. Gerri Cole; his sister Shirley Johnikins; and his siblings-in-law, Willie Boone (Julia), George Boone (Shirley), Lydia Boone and Nellie Boone. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
