She was predeceased by: her parents, Christian Heide and Nell Hunter Trask; and her sisters, Nell Trask Hooper (Joe) and Madeline Trask Hickmon (Jim). She is survived by: her children, Heide Wood Seward (Bernard), John Gilliam Wood IV (Susan) and Edward Wadsworth Wood; her grandchildren, John Gilliam Wood V (Laura Beth), George Christian Wood, Caroline Wood McHenry (Ryan) and Anna Kathryn Wood; her great grandchildren, John Gilliam VI and Gibson Wood McHenry; and her brother Christian Heide Trask (Cason).
A memorial service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Episcopal Church (101 W Gale St, Edenton, NC 27932). A reception was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
