Michael Steven Barber Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 19, 2025, at the age of 60, Michael Steven Barber (Edenton, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carl Nixon Barber and Maude Lee Corprew Barber; his wife Kathryn Belanger-Barber; his children, Allison Barber of Norfolk and Lauren Burnette; his grandchildren, Julia, Arthur and Henry; his children, Joshua Burnette of Concord, NC, Mariah Ebeling, Michael and Margot; and his sister Jennifer Barber of Virginia Beach.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Rocky Hock Baptist Church (113 Rocky Hock Ch Rd, Edenton, NC 27932). A graveside service will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 3:15 PM at the Nixon Family Cemetery (1645 Rocky Hock Landing Rd, Edenton, NC 27932).
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Kempsville Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 62345, Virginia Beach, VA 23466.
