With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Allen Cumbia Sr. of Edenton, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 18, 2024 at the age of 71. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Holton Cumbia and Barbara Bryant Sowers; his wife Mary Feige Cumbia; his sons, Mike Cumbia, Jr., Chris Cumbia of Arizona and Matt Cumbia of Greenville; and his siblings, Ann Carlon, Kathy Futrell, Beth Fisher, Nelda Powell, Robin Forbes and Jim Allman.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Roanoke Bass Masters, in care of Robert Gurganus, Treasurer, 1990 Goose Road, Robersonville, NC 27871.
