He is survived by: his parents, Micah Simonsen and Hayes Bryant Simonsen; his grandparents, Mike, Beth Bryant of Ahoskie, Lars and Chamblee Simonsen of Edenton; and his great-grandparents, Joe Gaddy Matheson of Ahoskie, Jackie Copeland of Gatesville and Margaret Burch of Raleigh. He is also survived by many other aunts, uncles, cousins, nurses, doctors and friends.
