She was predeceased by: her parents, John Herbert and Bessie Lois Snipes Breedlove; her husband Charlie Jasper "Jack" Phelps; and her siblings, Wilhelmina Cranford, Dean Burgess and Frank Breedlove.
She is survived by: her children, Angela Daughtridge (Douglas) of Wake Forest and Gary Phelps (Clara) of Windsor; her grandchildren, Linda Barnes (Marty) of Windsor and Daniel Daughtridge of Wake Forest; her great grandchildren, Kyle Barnes (Brianna) of Colerain, Savannah Barnes of Windsor and Lane Barnes of Windsor; and her great great grandchildren, Leo and Ella Barnes of Colerain.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Windsor Assembly of God (1505 S King St, Windsor, NC 27983).
