He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Edward and Lena Bass Bunch; his wife Lorene Ashley Bunch; and his sister Lillie Mae Rogerson. He is survived by: his daughters, Donna B. Peele (Ted) of Edenton and Angie B. Peek (Brian) of Cornelia, GA; his sisters, Ruby Long of Greenville, Etta Rea Riddick of Corapeake, Pattie Lou Hollowell of Suffolk, VA and Peggy Ward of Tyner; and his grandchildren, Brandi Lynch (Greg), Luke Peele (Tori) and Nikolai Peek.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rocky Hock Baptist Church (113 Rocky Hock Ch Rd, Edenton, NC 27932).
