She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Wallace White, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Jordan White; and her siblings, Jane Twiford and Jimmy White. She is survived by: her children, Charles H. Hollowell, Jr. of Elizabeth City and Melanie H. Dail of Williamston; her brothers, Sidney W. "Sid" White, Jr. of Edenton and William "Jerry" White of Chester, VA; and her grandchildren, Chase, Sydney, Matthew, Miranda and Johnny.

Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
