It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joy Kirkman Boyd of Edenton, North Carolina, born in Beaufort, North Carolina, who passed away on August 10, 2023, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Roy Lee "Red" Kirkman; and her brother Robbie Kirkman. She is survived by: her mother Lula Belle Midgette Kirkman of Edenton; her father-in-law Garry Wayne Boyd; her grandson Anderson David "Andy" Boyd; her brothers, Keith Alan Kirkman (Monica) of Edenton and Barry Lee Kirkman (Pam) of Camden; and also, Brent Rodman Boyd (Jennifer) of Chesapeake and Hillary Laine Boyd of Chesapeake.
