He was predeceased by: his parents, William Alexander Lynch and Anna Matilda Comerford Lynch; his wife Frances Crawley Lynch; his son Joseph Lynch; and his siblings, Anna Burbulak, William and Steven Lynch.

He is survived by: his children, Eileen Havey, Mary Iorio, Thomas J. Lynch, Daniel Lynch and James Lynch. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
