He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Lewis, Mary Grey Leary, Jimmie M., Sr. and Elizabeth Ann Parrish. He is survived by: his wife Chrystal Hare Parrish; his children, Jimmie "Jimbo" Moore Parrish, IV and Emma Worth Parrish; his parents, Jimmie "J. M." Moore Parrish, Jr. and Anne Leary Parrish; his sister Grey Parrish Tipton (John); and his nieces and nephews, Chess and John Macon. He is also survived by cousins, aunts, uncles, and countless friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Edenton Baptist Church (200 S Granville St, Edenton, NC 27932). A reception was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Miller & Van Essendelft Funeral Home and Crematory (735 Virginia Rd, Edenton, NC 27932).
