Harvey Anderson Johnson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harvey Anderson Johnson of Edenton, North Carolina, who passed away on March 12, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jennings Bryan Johnson and Sybil Layden Johnson; and his siblings, Lamar Johnson, C. B. Johnson, Kenneth Johnson, JoAnn Johnson, Phyllis Lockwood, Eddie Johnson, Bryan Johnson and Evelyn Davenport.
He is survived by: his wife Lucy Rae Phelps Johnson; his grandson Kenny Johnson (Becky); his great grandchildren, Eric and Scott; his grandson Phil Johnson (Kathy); his great grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, Nicholas and Jarod; his grandchildren, Terri Martin and Rev. Jim Martin; his great grandchildren, Kendra and Cara; his grandson Todd Johnson (Renee); his great grandchildren, Justin and Taylor; his grandchild Van Johnson (Anita); his great grandchildren, Van, Jr. and Curtis; and his siblings, Mary Frances Ownley and Larry Johnson (Hazel). He is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Home & Crematory (735 Virginia Rd, Edenton, NC 27932). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
