He is survived by: his sons, Daniel Owen Surratt of Edenton and Nathaniel Earl Surratt of Raleigh; the mother of his children Earline White Surratt of Edenton; and his siblings, Janice Surratt Sandberg (Gary) of Tacoma, WA, Susan Surratt Smith (Carey) of Emerald Isle, Kay Surratt Stokes (Charley) of Puyallup, WA, Doug Surratt (Edie) of Davidson and Tim Surratt (Dawn) of Henderson.
