He was predeceased by: his parents, Fenton Towe Eure, Sr. and Lillie Belle Trueblood Eure; his daughter-in-law Lisa Eure; his siblings, Garland Eure (Sadie) and Margaret Chappell; and his brother-in-law Julian Harrell.
He is survived by: his wife Margie Corprew Eure; his children, Fenton Towe Eure, III (Melody), Amy Eure Floyd (Dodd) of Edenton and Bethany Payne (Bo) of Pooler, GA.; his grandchildren, Towe Eure (Allison) of Edenton, Caroline Eure Farmer (Adam) of Edenton, Matt Floyd (Taylor) of Tyner, Jon Floyd (Haley) of Tyner and Daniel Payne (Jessie) of Utah; his great grandchildren, Sydney Eure of Edenton, Fenlee Eure of Edenton, Ainsley Farmer of Edenton, Aubrey Floyd of Evelyn Floyd, L. J and Jon Henry Floyd of Tyner; his sister Carolyn Harrell of Hertford; and his siblings-in-law, Ronnie Chappell of Elizabeth City, Johnny Corprew (Mary) of Hertford and Amanda Harrell (Fahey) of Elizabeth City. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Miller & Van Essendelft Funeral Home (735 Virginia Rd, Edenton, NC 27932). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rocky Hock Baptist Church (113 Rocky Hock Ch Rd, Edenton, NC 27932).
