She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Murry and Iva Nettles Peeples; her husband William Wesley "Sonny" Jones; and her siblings, Iva Bell Whitaker Spires, Margaret Ann Stallings, Myrtis Parrish, Jackie Edwards, Oscar and Robert M. "Buddy" Peeples.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael W. Jones (Lisa) of Edenton and Jason Jones (Hannah) of Tyner; her sister Winona Heninger of Edenton; her grandchildren, Lauren White (Josh), Clay Jones and Amber Blanchard; and her great grandchild Landon White.
