She is survived by: her children, Mary Boyce Hobbs of Knightdale and Carroll A. "Buddy" Boyce, III (Peggy) of Tyner; her brother Melvin Richard Harrell; her grandsons, J. W. "Johnny" Hobbs, III (Iliana) of Raleigh and Carroll A. "Tony" Boyce, IV of Raleigh; and her great grandchildren, Brylee Boyce and Saylor Renshaw.
