With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emily Greer Amburn of Edenton, North Carolina, born in Pikeville, Kentucky, who passed away on January 13, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Ruth; her brothers, Paul and Gregory; her nephew Luke; and her niece Melissa. She was also cherished by seven granddaughters.

In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Edenton-Chowan Food Pantry or Friends of the Shepard-Pruden Library.
