He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clyde Hassell Madry, Sr. and Mary Morgan Walker Madry; his brothers, Billy, Clyde, Jr. and Eddie; his wife Nancy Chappell Madry; and his children, Morgan Monds of Gates, Donald C. "Clay" Madry, Jr. of Chocowinity, Mel Madry (Shirley) of Tyner, Benjamin Madry of Edenton and Nathan Madry of Edenton. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
