He is survived by: his wife Angel Collins Broome; his children, Karla Jean Hamrick of Newport News, VA, Meredith Broome Ross (Mike) of Grimesland and Miles Delane Hamrick of Hampton; his sister Mary Hope Hall (Jay) of Oak City; and his grandchildren, Ethan Hamrick (Emily), Landon Hamrick and Ava Kilcoyne.
