She was predeceased by: her parents, Elton D. Taylor and Sadie King Taylor; her husband Walter Lee Sawyer, Jr.; and her siblings, Susan Taylor and Buddy Taylor.
She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth Sawyer (Terry) of Portsmouth, VA and Keith Sawyer (Annette) of Greenville, SC; her siblings, Cindy Jefferson and Ronald Taylor of Hobbsville; her grandchildren, Philip Michael Sawyer, Curtis Ray Sawyer, Meagan Elizabeth Sawyer Hendrix and Kenneth Allen Sawyer, Jr. (Emily); and her great grandchild James Ray Hendrix.
